What is an agitub?

Im thinking its where the tub and agitator move at the same time

that exactly it. Frigidaire used this on their compact washer both skinny-mini laundry center and their G-Mini freestanding compact washer. I think they came out with it in '69 or '70. It looks to me like it did a lousy job. This was the last of the solid tub washers too. They used this design until that very sad day when GM sold of the frigidaire division to horrid White Consolidated Industries.

I guess my sister's Suzy Homemaker washer had an agitub....I played with that toy more than she did....
