Really cool machine-like the "coral"-or pink color.-and note on the picture of its owners manual-you see a KA mixer on the counter above the dishwasher! This is sure a treasure.I would want it if it was closer to me-a while ago some clown tried to sell a USED version of this machine for $1800!Don't think he got any takers- a price of less than 10 bucks should get someones attention-Note to you EBAY shoppers in Applianceville!

As new, never used... I'll bet it still smells like new porcelain, rubber coating on the racks and that "new motor electrical" smell for the first few runs!

I need a towel.

Robert, Robert, he's our man, if he can't do it no one can!
Go Robert!

*LOL*

Ok, if anyother members are bidding let me know and I'll do a cheer for you, just so I won't be accused of playing favourites.

Have a hunch this auction is going to get "hot". Vintage pink appliances seem always to do well. Remember seeing a pink Ironrite go for over $1500 on Fleabay. Waaaaaaaaaay to rich for my blood, I'd never use the darn thing!

Go Robert!

The stainless steel KA that was on eBay last week went for over $300. Bidding got real hot during the last minutes...

“… more tears have been cried over those prayer that have been answered than those that have not…” Mother Teresa

Good Lord!!! I keep Vicodin, Oxycodin, Librium, Xanax etc. in an nut dish on my bedside “cocktail” table. As well as, pitcher(s) of “Sawtooth Mountian Breezes; vodka, grapefruit juice, vodka, cranberry juice, vodka, vodka, just a little crushed ice, vodka, some vodka, oh and just a splash of vodka.

I have had to be taken to my bed. Hopefully tomorrow I will be able sit up at take fluids, cigarettes, pills, sublingually swilled down with “Sawtooth Mountain Breezes” and up my bid. Ms. Civic is gassed up with installed trailer hitch. AAA has Fed-X a trip check map. I am ready and willing to give my left “you know what” for this KA.

Note that this early 50’s model has the bottom rack with the “side rails” prior to the redesigned model where smaller plates loaded front to back. “Think Pink” girls. Is what my apt. intercom buzzer bell button is labeled. Where the in the HELL is South DA? Whatever? I’ll walk on my lips to get there for this. My plumber has advised me that it has this thing has a “gravity drain” and will $cost$ extra. I gag on a toothbrush. But I’ll give him my best.

I was wondering if it might be a gravity drain model

unimatic1140's profile picture
Partycycle, so you think this machine has a gravity drain? I was sort of wondering the same thing. If that is true a hole will need to be cut in the floor and a pipe connected because you can't gravity drain "up" to the sink drain or disposer.

Gravity Drain

Yes, this machine would have a gravity drain. It's the same machine the family had when I was a kid. I would love to see (and hear) her when she's all hooked up! Jim
