Welcome to the new Shoppers Square forum everyone. This forum is meant to post fun appliance related items that you find for sale on eBay, Craigslist and other classified ads. If you find something that is super rare and highly unusual to find such as a mint new in box 1950's Kenmore Washer then that should be posted in the Imperial Forum. For the majority of items you want to post they should go here in the Shoppers Square forum. Don't be too worried about did I post it in the correct forum though, if I think it should be moved I'll move it. Don't sweat the details if you aren't sure just where to post it, post it where you think the best fit is forum wise. There are no hard-set rules for this.

Members may post items they are personally selling non-professionally, without specific permission from the webmaster/website owner. However, this website will provide no mediation for any sale transaction that is not fulfilled to the buyers satisfaction. By purchasing anything for sale posted by other members of this site you agree that you are solely responsible for checking references of the seller and making sure that you trust the seller before making any purchasing decisions. Any seller that posts items and the webmaster hears of transactions that have gone bad, that seller will lose their posting privileges.

Absolutely Kevin, anything that would you could post in Imperial, Deluxe or Super can go in here.

Oh but one thing before I forget everyone, please don't make two threads for the same thing, in other words don't post your find in here and then go and make the same thread in Imperial, Deluxe, etc.

How Beautiful, Robert!

mickeyd's profile picture
Woke up to purple today, after asking for it for years. So big and gorgeous and when you go to "Update & Preview "........ Perfect Purple Everywhere! Thank you! Have you finally come out of the closet, after all these years? LOL

So happy you made the forum public. Any gouging/greed issues will be easily and politely handled and probably with typical Aworg comedy.

Dream lists may have met their match.

This is wonderful Robert! I remember I thought once a similar idea about making a page where members could sell or trade their things  just among us, this is great! So is it good also for those who would  like to trade also or just sell?
Only appliances  items or even VTG detergents for example?

This is so nice Robert!
Another wonderful improvement to this already  wonderful and awesome website!
Really nice! Well done!

My last few posts, I really began to feel guilty about taking up "Thread Space" in the different forums.

This is just Great. Thanks Robert. Eddie

LOL, yes purple it is Mike.

Thanks Federico! Trade, sell, barter, buy, all is fine. Yes anything that you could post in Imperial, Deluxe or Super can otherwise go here.

Don't get too caught up in rules, we will hash this out as we go along.

Trading Machines.

mickeyd's profile picture
For along time, I've had this idea rattling around, and today is the right time and place to bring it up. Thank You, Robert.

Many members know each other well enough to trust ourselves to care for and respect our prized possessions. Sometimes we hit a saturation point with a machine, and we move on to another one, only to go back, at some point to the first love. Some of us use a group of machines seasonally and rotate them; other times, we abandon a great machine for even a year.

So would it be possible for us to trade a machine for a season, a year, whatever. How we would do this is another matter, but for now, is there anyone who would like to do this at some point in the future?

Nice work Robert. Even the color is nice imo, very Easter-y. :)

The forum name is a bit dull tho imo. Maybe Sale-A-Rama or something? :)

I think that this is a great idea Robert, now when the mood strikes to look at appliances to buy-sell we have one easy place to look and this way they will not get lost in the other threads.

This is great Robert! Thank you very much!

Oh and I am making a point of NOT telling hubby that there is a 'for sale' section here... Just 'WANTED' posts... Yes, that will do...
Apparently I am now 7 machines over his 'appliance neutral' point...

So, who'd like to sell me some cinderblock chunks for the 2001 Magic-Norge-Tags that we have in town?? LOL

Robert, can we get an update on which forums are being archived by Google? Is this new forum archived? I just noticed one of my Super photos (uploaded to AW, not linked elsewhere) in Google's image search. Is it there forever?

Jeff Google is allowed to scan all of the public forums, Imperial, Deluxe, Super and Shoppers Square. Google cannot access As The Tub Turns and Dirty Laundry as they need an updgraded account to see that.
