When we lived near Old Town Alexandria our condo had simliar unit (in electric) and everything worked great. D&M design d/w which was VERY LOUD but if properly loaded dishes always came out clean. Have never seen gas version....WOW!

The exact unit as pictured was used in many French Quarter apartments. Sometimes the dishwashers were replaced with less than stellar results. IIRC someone posted about plastic tub dishwashers and their proximity to high heat. alr

These units look like giants in kitchens because unlike most models with an oven or cabinet below the cooktop, the cooktop on these models could not be below counter height with the dishwasher uner it. These give pretty good space between the cooktop and the underside of the oven, but that makes the whole thing, with a fairly good sized upper (read only) oven, very tall. Add ventilation on top of that and you have something that looks like a ceiling scraper.

Oven Interior

I always hated the oven interior on these MM ovens.  Someone would eventually try to clean it with EZ Off and make a mess.
