Control buttons. The seller says it is comparable to a Kitchenaid KUDI21DS-1. Would that be considered the Imperial line, which would be a step down from a Superba? |

The buttons are the shape that KA used on series 20 machines, and this machine still has the KA latch instead of the $250K side-to-side type. I'm leaning toward it being a 20 clone as opposed to 21. I guess you'd have to investigate whether it has a reversing motor or not for a definitive identification.
These Classic Supremes are most similar to the KDI (Imperial) and/or KDP (Patrician) models, which are the next ones down from the TOL Superbas. |
