I doubt it

LG Mexico claims that its WT5101 can handle 44 lbs. *rofl*

Way more realistically, Maytag says that their 4.6 cu.ft. Bravos washes 18 lbs.

33lbs

it says it can handle 33lbs but i dont believe that, dont get me wrong, the tub is huge but the washing method isnt strong enough to handle 33lbs i believe

AWESOME WASHER!!!
I'm sure you'll have a blast with it. I hve the 13kg Samung with diamond drum and the normal double storm pulsator. It definitely does use alot of water which is awesome because on a maximun load it really does fill right up. I love the flexibility of the cycles (30 min wsh and 5 rinses for example). The air turbo works great for line drying in winter and tumble drying in general.
Enjoy and please post a vid!

LG already has a 'wobble' washer here in the states and, from the videos of the laundry room damage after it finishes, it does exactly that... LOL!

Seriously, this washer looks pretty cool. I'd most likely have fun experimenting with it. Congrats!

Yep this washer can do up to 5 rinses! plus it has a air turbo function which increases spindry time by 30 mins to enable quicker drying. There are vents on the lid and air is introduced into the tub..

How much was it?

I feel ashamed, do not know which currency there is in Trinidad and Tobago. I can imagine that it is USD after all...

Post# 699742 , Reply# 22   8/29/2013 at 11:03 (3,892 days old) by whirlyfanatic (Trinidad and Tobago)
Cost

Well in Trinidad we have TT currency. It's approximately 6.45 to 1 US dollar.
This one was orignally $4699TT but i got it on sale for $3999. There's a white version with 2 cycles less and no floral applique for $3699 i believe on sale but now it's like $3999. I love the silver for a change though

So roundabout 730 USD

That is not nearly as expensive as I thought. I believe Samsung washers over here are a bit more pricey but there are no Samsung toploaders anyway, even less V-axxis ones...

Ohh, Samsungs here in germany are way less pricey, arround 900€ for the 12kg W-Lan modell....

Washer prices

Washers in Trinidad are mostly pricey. The basic Washer will run you about $ 4000 TT.

Money shot

What are the two rolls for? Are they somehow electrically driven?

Post# 700781 , Reply# 28   9/3/2013 at 06:22 (3,887 days old) by whirlyfanatic (Trinidad and Tobago)
Rolls

The two rolls basically move when clothes roll over them. The impeller in not flat it is curved to promote just what is says a wobble action more turnover/ wash action
