That is a fairly decent price for one of these dryers if it works and runs quietly. These now cost about FOUR times this amount new and as Louis can attest to the little bit older models are a little more heavily built.
The plug was likely changed because because of the high and prolonged power draw of compact dryers it is not at all uncommon for the plug to overheat and fail especially if not used with a good heavy-duty outlet. |
