The ad in the last picture is from 62ish from the washer... I guess that sort of looks 50's if you didn't know better... maybe?

Soaking wet indeed, LOL, yes the dry weight capacity on these great little machines is in the 3-5 pound range.

Based on the model number she provided (for the washer) they're 1978 models, so she's 20+ years off. Is it me, or does the washer look a bit rusty?
