Thats a curious variation on the Miele brand. Perhaps Miele rebadged some eastern European brand?

Nope, that's defiantly a Miele manufacture, early 1990s I would guess. The wash progress indicator is similar to that on the mid 1980s Miele push button washer in Australia recently posted
