Hello Everyone,

I'm looking for a working Control Panel, or individual
components for a 1960 GE J 720T Single Wall Oven. I
definitely need the Thermostat Control and The Knob.
And it couldn't hurt to have the other components to
repair the existing panel, or keep as spare parts.

If anyone has a complete Panel or components to sell, please let
me know. If anyone has one of these ovens for parts, I would
consider that, as well, depending on location.

Thanks to All.

Louis

Louis, would you happen to have a photo of the oven? I know I have some GE oven parts, but I am not sure of the model number...

YES THAT'S IT.

Hi Lawrence,

Yes that's it. The Clock and Timer Faces
are a bit different but that's definitely
it.

My folks had the whole set up as pictured,
but only kept the oven.

I'm looking for a Complete control panel.
This set looks too good to part out,
and I'm in NJ, so shipping would be
somewhat costly.

Do you know of any parts ovens like this?

Thanks for your response.

Louis

Oh bother... the one I have is a fancier model with a sliding function selector and 'speedometer' type of thermostat. However, I know a fellow with a ton of parts and he may just have something.

Thanks for the picture, Lawrence!!

Thanks for thinking of me.

Would you be able to forward the pic
to your friend and ask him to check his inventory please?

Thanks again,

Louis

That 'sliding function' thing-y indicates that the oven is/was equipped with a meat probe.  Set the desired temperature and insert the probe and the oven will take it from there.

This white wall oven turned up yesterday on the Atlanta CL and I was struck by how incredibly clean and shiny it was.  OMG, it looks like it has never been struck with an ounce of grease or grime.  It's a shame that the cooktop is not the model with the controls on the range hood.  Alas, doesn't really matter as my kitchen is not set up for these built-ins.
