...Deluxe fridge!
I spotted this locally for sale here in Waterloo a few weeks ago, and finally got a chance to talk to the seller yesterday. He pulled it from an estate a month or so ago, and claims it cools just fine. It looks complete although I have not compared the fridge to the Tech Talk to see if it is missing shelves or anything else. It's in pretty decent condition and would make a fun drink fridge for a garage or bar. He is asking $65 dollars. If someone here is seriously interested, I can hold the fridge for a few weeks. PM me if interested! Ben ![]() |

....SO much better inside than the pink liners of the '57s!
I'm thinking my strong antipathy to pink liners must have been shared by more than a few people - both GE and Frigidaire had pink for '57, and promptly dropped it in '58. Never looked really clean to me, even though I know it's only a perceptual thing, not anything based in reality. |
