$50 or a trade ...would be nice to see the dryer, too, don't you think?

Uh....

....Yeah, it'd be nice to see the dryer, too, but given that the washer is a TOL 806, the washer alone is a great deal at $50 if it's in any kind of decent shape.

P.S.: Is there a link for this?

The Link....

....Was actually pretty helpful. First, she's Almond - the twin of one I have.

Second, the dryer doesn't shut off. That means that either it's not an 806 dryer (remember, all full-size Maytags of that era pretty much matched, so the seller's claim of a "matching washer dryer" could mean any dryer in the Maytag lineup), or the owner assumes that a timer is what would be making it shut off, not knowing that some electronics are actually the means by which the automatic shutoff works. That would mean that the dryer has some issues.

This looks like a deal for someone to follow up on. I wish the console bezel on my 806 was in that shape! I have pitted chrome.

Sandy, I may have a nice console for your 806. Let me check.
