Strange Variant.....

....Of the 1966 Lady K dryer. The three pushbuttons and dial are present, but the console has had some restyling that converts the full-width light to a small unit at left, I think.

Presuming scrappers don't work on Sundays, this machine at least got a brief window of time to be rescued.   It will be in the hands of a junk man first thing tomorrow morning if a deal wasn't struck today.

The TMI parenthetical copy mentions a male partner.   Clearly they are not AWO material.

What Pat said

I was going to say the same thing.

The picture is reversed, but besides that, someone had a picture I'd say last Fall (?) of the matching or very similar washer which looked as if the top portion involving the full-width light of a '66 Lady K control panel top had been lobbed off in a fencing match, leaving only the light over the dial.

If I recall not many of us, if any, had ever seen that model before. With a little Searcholating, I'm sure we can find the original thread.

Thanks Greg, you saved us some searcholating! Interesting washer indeed! I would not have guessed that it was a year ago already that you found those estate sale machines.
