GAAP

GAAP stood for General Appliance Authorized Parts. When WCI was in business
this was their parts division. All WCI parts, Gibson, Frigidaire, White Westinghouse, Tappan and the others carried this name on the packaging. The lid switch was a common item. If you ever delivered a washer in the freezing weather and didn't allow it to warm up before trying it, you would know what these were.
I learned the hard way on a -15 degree day.
