Why cant I find something like this in SO CAL? The inside is spotless! It doesn't look like this one has a top Constance rinse?

right down to the Harvest Gold, and if we had to pare down to just one of our KA-17s and 18s (heaven forbid!) this one might just be the keeper, yes, we love it that much! Simple, sturdy, and does a great job!

Constant rinse...

Nope, that is a one wash arm wonder. It looks to be able to efficiently wash the flower pattern off of the dish...

This machine does in fact have the constant rinse on the top of the wash chamber.  This was standard issue on Hobart's KD17 DWs.  It does not however have an upper wash arm under the top rack.  Hobart introduced this feature on the 18 series and revised it to a larger arm and ChinaGuard in the 19 series when the constant rinse went away in favor of a jet of water spraying over the top from the back of the machine. IIRC the 18's were the only residential Hobart machines with both a constant rinse and upper wash arm.  The constant rinse above the top rack did not appear again in the KA until the tall tubs came out IIRC.
