One suspects the item will be scrapped.
Sadly demand for ironers is such that locally it can vary from nil to just. Shipping these metal and chrome beauties can be done (that is how I got my all my ironers), it does take good crating and will likely cost. IMHO these vintage ironers are better than recent offerings for the USA market by Miele. One supposes it could be because codes were different but they seem to get much hotter than the 120v Miele unit. The Thor Gladirons one had could and did scorch linen on contact, that is how hot those things got. |
