How did this end up on the USA side of the pond?

Seller could be correct in that dryer would work with a swapping of plugs, but then again I don't know. The electronics inside might not be too happy on 50hz.

It is telling someone paid or at least had someone else fork out big bucks to haul the thing over here, only to sell it on. Probably would have fetched more in the UK/Europe. Even in space challenged/no W&D rules NYC apartments condenser dryers are not hugely popular. More so one being sold for that kind of money with no USA service/parts network.
