![]() I have a Mint 1986 Maytag Batchfeed disposer that I am selling. I am trying to rebuild my P.C. and don't feel right letting my Aunt pay for it and I will not use credit cards. I keep them for Emergency only but that is it and they have no balance on them. The disposer is a Batch feed but it has a Magnetic switch on it so if somebody wants to use it as a continuous feed I will attach a neodymium magnet to the sensor and it works just like any other disposer. The disposer has a huge grind chamber you drop the stopper in one way and it turns on the other way seals the sink. Maytag,Wasteking, are by far my favorite disposers oh and old Kitchenaids also.I am asking 300 for it cause that is what I paid for it these disposer's last 35+ years. Here is a pic sorry about the quality... ![]() |

![]() Here is a pic of the grind chamber of one I sold years ago the only differnce is the batch feed as a larger grind chamber. Maytag disposer's were all 1/2 H.P. but I have found that power really does not matter if you have a good grind system. This disposer can grind corns-husks,anything really without any problems because they have blades the shear under the cast grind ring... ![]() |
