I love mine and the asking price is certainly reasonable if nothing is wrong with them.

A question for the Miele mouths:

I want a  Miele that runs on 220, heats the water up to boiling, at spins at 1600 rpm; which models should I look for? And can you still buy one of these new?

You Really Have To Watch fleaPay And Craigslist

There was a NIB "old school" Miele set in CA on fleaPay recently. It was listed at $1750 but seller took less.

Also work a connection of contractors and interior designers; you'd be surprised what persons order when building a new home then change their mind after it arrives.

Usually however things will work out that what you want isn't anywhere near. Shipping a washer and dryer set with a combined weight >500lbs is not going to be easy nor cheap.

Better Miele Mouth than mealy mouth

You can look for the W1926 at 5kg capacity or the W1986 at 6kg capacity. The W1926 is the one that spins at 1600rpm, but after the wash drains, the rinsing takes an hour. The rinsing takes 39 minutes in the W1986, but its top spin speed is 1200. Both rinse well, but the W1986 uses fast spins between all of the water changes in the cottons program so it rinses well with three while the W1926 rinses well with 5 in the cottons program using slower spins between the early water changes. They are wonderful machines, especially with a tempering valve on the cold water suppply in the winter so that you can rinse at 76F instead of stone cold. I am glad I bought mine. They are much more versatile that what came after in the US.
