Would it be considered mint if the dryer fell off the truck? |

It's not pretty but it's the truth...
I guess that would explain why I replace more support rollers, idler pulleys, elements and motors on the Kenmore/Whirlpool dryers than the Dependable Care Maytag dryers. Also, that would explain why the Maytag dryer tops last longer and look nicer than the painted KM/WP dryer tops that scratch and rust if you look at them wrong. Lets not even get into durability of the drum surfaces. All front service vs. KM/WP pulling it out (usually in a phone booth sized room) to access stuff on the back is also thought provoking I also have an issue with a system that has the heat both entering and exiting thru the back panel thru openings not too far apart where the Maytag has the heated air enter thru the back panel, THRU the clothing and exiting out of the front. A system that Maytag has kept in one form or another since forever. My service call rate on laundry has actually INCREASED since Whirlpool took over the establishment and started putting the Maytag name on Whirlpool laundry. No, it's not pretty at all. RCD |
