Misleading title. If you read it, they want $3900. The $500 price is for a refrigerator they talk about in the ad but don't show...

It's a beautifully restored stove in a drop dead gorgeous color and might still be a valid price for that perfect kitchen.

As follows:

Classic RED Vintage O'Keefe & Merritt & dryer & refrigerator - $500 (big bear)

Beat the Thanksgiving rush and get this range, L@@K! 1954 O&E RED stove 39" with grillevator/ broiler and oven on right side. Fully restored, all original and tested in our kitchen for one year. The clock makes noise, but I think it was keeping the correct time when the bank kicked us out in the snow several years back. 3900.00 Also have for sale a Whirlpool gas dryer, the older kind that works and won't break, with low hours on it. 150.00 Need a fridge? have
G.E. Side by side 24 cu.' refrigerator with black doors (plexiglass panels) water & ice in the door in good condition..Older and better made before all the crap hit the market. It is an R-12 unit (they last as long as you want). 500.00
I also have lots of parts for classic stoves, they are my specialty. If you have any appliance woes, I will happily tell you what needs to be done. Got 1T F'Xed? Want IT FIXED??Call me at (909) 585-5821 "Chris"
Location: big bear

Nothing red is worth $3,900, not even a Ferrari. I deleted the post.

Well, it reads like they have had financial reversals so I guess they cannot be blamed for trying to make the most they can from a rare range. As you said, it does not justify the price, but if a kindly millionaire wanted the stove and did not mind overpaying to help someone who had suffered financial disaster, the figure might be a starting place for some deal-making.

As for the refrigerator, it is probably one of the energy-hog models whose use could only be justified if it was that or absolutely nothing at all.
