actually the ad has nothing of interest.....
I am laughing more at the 'can't fix stupid' OR 'stupid can't be fixed'..... and not along my lines of thinking outside the box....I have proped dryer doors until I was able to get the new clip, but never thought of this... but sometimes, you have seen it all.......suprised it wasn't one with a padlock, for safety of the children...that is odd if you think about it, washer doors now lock, but dryers still don't have a locking mechanism.....soon to come! to think, a sliding door lock for the dryer repair.....the things they think up! ....In this world who will do absolutely anything but go to the parts store and get the part they need.
I used to work with one - he liked Volvos, and he was forever jury-rigging stuff on the ones he had. He had an absolutely beautiful 1988 240DL sedan, navy with the saddle tan interior. Well, it was beautiful when he got it. Two years later, it was bristling with duct tape and coat hangers and God knows what all else holding it together. Ran and sounded like an ancient piece of agricultural equipment. There was a Volvo parts place two blocks from the office, with both new and used parts, and he was far and away the highest-paid employee in the company except for the owners. Crazy. |
