All that money for a part that just blocks out lint and fuzz that goes thru it.

Yes it is all metal.... but it sure isn't made of platinum!

Me thinks that Miss Minervajane needs to have her brain lint filtered to get all the fuzzies out of her head and come back to reality.

While I don't know much about auto parts, the seller has a bunch listed that don't seem way out of line like this filter insert.

Well some of the car parts are reasonable but a  ball joint for a Cadillac $325.00 ?? You can get the whole front end rebuild kit at Kanter for $339.00!

 

So she's dealing with unobtanium for sure.

Jon you are paying extra because it also fits Maytag and Westinghouse washers, it probably comes with the adapters to make it work, LOL.

for a long long time, Mom had that kind of filter on our washer around the late '50s I think, memory is so dim I can't recall what is was on, but probably a Kenmore, as that what she always had, I do remember the 700 that replaced this one later on.
