Hoover Logic 1200
This looks to be an excellent example of one of these machines, the fault is I would guess either brushes or a partially blocked pressure vessel

Servis twin tub I don't think the person bidding on this is a member here. Whoever it is also recently bought an old servis wringer machine and the very early Hoover single tub with hand wringer which finished yesterday. Obviously a collector but who? | ||

It might LOOK as good as new
This machine must be what? 40 - 45 years old and in that time (as had been demonstrated so many times by our North American friends) rubber hoses and seals will likely have perished and split, not to mention the effects on the motor sitting unused for all that time. It would be a lovely machine to have but not at this (or a higher) price.
The ironic thing is that only a couple of weeks ago there was a Supertwin 100 (with the all stainless steel wash deck) on ebay at a very low price (was it 99p?) which I believe did not sell at all and yet it is fundamentally the same machine as this albeit several years younger. Al | ||
