My gosh some of the most crazy Kenmore dryers have popped up in the last few weeks!  1960, and I believe it is a model 80, right under the Lady K.  It has the same rocker style push buttons that the '59 Lady Kenmore's have.  It too features a lint bag system like it's big sister.

I saw this while perusing Craigslist - glad you posted it, as I wondered year as well. It does look similar to the one here: www.automaticwasher.org/cgi-bin/T...

So there are only three paddle switches on it - Normal Wash N Wear and Lights like the LK on the link. ?
..would it were closer...

I so wish somebody could save that for me. I just got back from a trip north and won't have a chance to go back again this year.

If anybody in the Baltimore area has room to store it for about a month I can come get it in January and I would be most appreciative.

I am going to need a second dryer when I get my basement re-worked and that one is beautiful!

Would that be the original owner's manual sitting on top of the dryer? Those don't often survive or stay with the appliance after 53 years. Whatever it is, it has a cartoonish-look to it.

Mark, I may be able to help you out, but I need to clear it with my wife first. We're about 20 minutes from this one (also conveniently off 95).

The dryer at the top of the thread is, indeed, a 1960 Model 80. It's the dryer I grw up with. The dryer with the toggle buttons is a 1960 LK. Would love to have a '60 LK pair.
