I'm pretty sure these machines are old news, but they may have been priced higher in previous ads.  IIRC Kevin already checked them out a while back and reported that one (the dryer) or both need work.

If this is the set I'm thinking of, Kevin already went and had a look at them monthes ago. I believe he said the washer was a basket case, and it may even have A806 innards hiding under the cabinet.

Yes I looked at these about a year ago and she wanted a lot more money for them then. I think the highest I was willing to go at the time was $100 as I remember.

They are in just O-K condition, the paint is faded and there are chips and scratches on both. The chrome on both have some corrosion/pitting as they are located a mile or so from the ocean. The dryer needs at least belts (motor turns but no blower or drum movement) and yes I was dissapointed to see the washer cabinet had been installed on a newer, large capacity "06" chassis. When I tried the washer, it tried to spin, but it's been sitting for 10 years or so, and definately needs some TLC. So David, no not a "basket case".

They do have potential though if anyone is seriously interested, especially now that she's come down to a more reasonable price.

I have no interest in these as I have since found another pink Maytag pair in pristine condition! (Thanks again David!)

On the up side, both of the control panel lights worked when I looked at them!

Kevin
