YYYEEESSS! I just one this on ebay, It will go great with my new Wringer which, unfortunately, I have not yet recieved and I don't know when I will just yet. It may not be the right filter, but I have the missing fabric softener dispenser to go with it even though I can't use it. I can't wait to pop this in a test it out! Does anyone know what it is made of? Is it plastic or is it... umm... what that one kind called agin? They used to make agitators out of it, it was an early very heavy plastic.

HEY JAMIE
I THINK YOUR THINKING OF BAKELITE, I'M NOT SURE THAT THAT
AGITATOR WILL WORK WITH WRINGER WASHER, I COULD BE WRONG, NONE OF THE MAYTAG WRINGERS I HAVE, INCORPARATE THAT TYPE OF AGITATOR,
WHEN IS THE NEW MACHINE DUE TO ARRIVE?

Reminds me of the agitators in the TOL automatics around '64 and '65, just before the "power-fin".

Not sure if that's the same agitator ...

Hi Jamie ...

I "think" that agitator is from an automatic and may not work on your wringer washer.

You're thinking of bakelite ... a very hard plastic. They can become very brittle.

See what mine looks like.

The only difference I see is in the filter. Besides, the seller specifically said that it would work in Wringer models E,J, and something else. If it does not I will have a wonderful addition to my collection.
