 I was looking at real estate listing in Rome, GA today and ran across this one. The house is cool enough, but check out the kitchen! The house was built in 1962. The listing specifically states that the dishwasher is not operable.

I like the oven, cooktop, hood and sink. The placement of the dishwasher is strange; it would block the cooktop when open. Don't think I've ever seen anyone's kitchen where the dishwasher was at an angle in the corner. | ||

Sandy- They must have been going for the "lived in" look, although it's a just "to lived in" for comfort. Even the bedrooms have that bit of style and flair. LOL Circle- I have seen corner mounted DW's before but it was in a small kitchen. There wasn't any other place to put it. | ||

The corner dishwasher would be OK if there was at least a 21" base cabinet between it and the cooktop. | ||

The turquoise and that wood do not look good together, but put some new white cabinets (or fronts) and countertops in and those turquoise appliances would make that kitchen a show piece. | ||
