Neat Bendix, and yes, it is early. Galvanized tub, swing down door, early design timer, early water valve, etc.
However, there are signs that indicate the washer was probably used. The cut drain hose has debris inside the hose that resembles the inside of a used hose; rust under the water valve near the water connections; soap residue on the filter. While used, it appears to be in amazing condition, considering what it is and the age. I hope someone picks this gem up. I don't have access to my Bendix books, but I'm assuming the serial number (K7000736) is an early one. Ben |
