Ad reads: " Origonal whirlpool dryer.
Washer finally died.
Ordered new washer/dryer combo
Dryer still works great, just want matching.."

Whirlpool Brochure shows model numbers but not sure - LHI(E?) 5500 or 5800 & LHI 5501(or 5801)?

Just for fun, here's a date/model chart from www.electrical-forensics.com/Majo...

LHE = electric
LHIxxx1 = gas

Probably 5800.  Looks to be a Supreme designation on the console.  There's a 5530 but it likely wouldn't have auto-dry cycles.

Slight oddness with Whirlpool's "pairings" circa this period ... 5800 washer was 18lb capacity but 5800 dryer was regular capacity, it added auto-dry (and a hamper door) to the 5700 feature set.
