the bottom door-shelf....

is it broken on the outer corners?? why do the edges of the bottom door-shelf seem to be missing??? but it's hard to believe that they both broke in the exact same shape??

That's the way it's built.

Spotted today at NFCC Thrift - similar one in yellow

ovrphil's profile picture
It didn't have a price on it, but it was similar to this; the difference was that it had a protruding box, about 8" x 6" by 1" deep that protruded out into the freezer cavity, with round controls, I believe, on that box.

Sorry for being lame and not checking out the model number, but the handles were very much like this and the trim was decorative on the door.

Things come and go quickly out of the NFCC Thrift Shop, but it just came in yesterday morning...

Looks like a lot of crisper, deli, meaty drawer space. For it's day, that was quite a sizable box.

Thanks for the heads up

I went to Roswell and pick up the yellow one this morning it was $40 but it was 20% off day so it was $35 it didnt work when we pluged it in at the store? However when I got it home I noticed a dial under the kick panel so I turned it and it fired right up! Its cooling perfectly now. This was the final piece to our vintage kitchen renovation picts coming soon!

That is not a frost-free freezer.

YAY !

AWESOME, Dave. That made my day, man. I am SOOOO happy that you got it. I really wanted it to follow me home, but 1) we live in an apt about to be renovated to godawful black and chrome GE appliances and 2) we don't have room in the laundry room(which is big)...

I'm looking forward to seeing pictures!! It's a nice refrigerator - some flaws on the right side, but hope it cleans up pretty nicely.

YAY! (again). :-)

Phil

I will post pictures when the light is better but it says "frost guard" right on the front on the fridge door?

I forget what the lettering was inside the freezer, but I thought it said "frost .....?...." I forgot . I was a little miffed that I couldn't take it home, so I didn't want to look at it too long...lol. Thanks again for saving it; I'm sure it'll get a good home.

The thing in the freezer says ' ice service" and its this cool thing that you put ice trays in that freezes them super fast and it does what it says. Real talk

Frost guard

did you say on the fridge door (inside?) it's labeled "frost guard"? I thought there was a "No Frost" sign, somewhere, too.

Well, after you get it photo ready and in the light - looking forward to seeing it again. Was it a 13 ft3 'er?

I'm talking about the picture of the brown one with the open freezer door. That is not a frost free freezer.
