People I´m desperate. I owned a 3 year old KA dishwasher. A 3 rack model. It stopped heating some time ago. I´ve changed the control panel, soil/thermistor sensor, hi limit sensor, hi limit sensor on the control panel, checked all the cables, tested the heating element (works fine) and still not making it to heat. I have runned it through the test and it does heat on the heating part but only without water, but during a cycle it never heats. I ´ve tried it on every cycle and no heating in anyone. I would appreciate some advice.

You missed one thing..

If you ran the diagnostics and the element heated then like you said, the components are good.
There are thermostats under the tub either 1 or 2 that control the temp of the water and could prevent the element from heating during a cycle. Check to make sure it is good. It can either be normally closed and works as a safety thermostat or it can be a delay thermostat that closes when it reaches a specific temperature to signal the controller that it has reached the proper temperature.

You can see this on a parts diagram and should also be on the wiring diagram that is part of the service literature behind the door panel.
Hope that this helps
Steve

Stevet

Hi. Thanks for your response. I have already checked every sensor, and changed them for new ones and even though I still don´t get it to heat. I´m desperate.
