Price isn't terribly outrageous.

A Newbie Question:

Does the washer have suds saver? I don't see a button for it, but there is a large dial switch on the top of the control console, right side... Or does that control the console light?

Although I know others would disagree with my opinion here, I've never liked this color. But apart from that this is a pair that many Maytag collectors and fans would love to find, though at a very unfortunate and delusional price. I honestly can't fathom where these prices come from.

This washer looks like an A702, so the control panel light will be on whenever the washer is on. That knob you see atop the control panel allows the user to control rinse temperature.

Uptown

These look to have the pretty white glass console with the gold dots.

I don't much like that shade of brown either; however, I really like the later shade "Cordoba Copper", which is darker with shaded edges.

Classiccaprice - that one for sale has better details - thanks, here's a better shot of the panel, showing "dots"
