well I have read alot of posts comparing alot of the front load brands, and my mom wants something that she can wash "bed comforters" in without having to go to the laundromat because they are so big and bulky. As it stands now I am thinking of going with the "duets", but still undecided. I also thought maybe I would wait and buy an LG combo. It will be tough for my mom to get over the fact that the clothes will come clean even if they are not "sloshing" around semi under water. I know many have their pluses and minuses and it sounds like I should cover myself with a maintenance plan ??? Your suggestions are most welcome, thanks very much --gregm

Duets / HE4T

Hey there,
I love my HE3T, and I have had it over two years now. It can wash about anything.
The HE4T actually has a new programed wash for "bulky items", and it uses more water.
Get the service plan if it is a good piece of mind. I used mine once, and told them to bring me another machine. They did not hesitate.
Hope this helps.
Brent

Considering the cost of replacing them, the service plan is cheap (as long as it clearly covers "lightning strike and power surge"). What about a "Milnor". Wellllll you can get a few comforters in one of those! Good luck---Steve
