This is a

Plain single door fridge, but it really does look like new, inside and out, and it has all its parts, Do any of you Frigidaire guys have a thermostat for it, If you do, just let me know how much it is! I want to get this old girl running!

Hans, I looked for both your part number and the one that replaces it and I don't have a cold control like that.

My books say your model should use 6599216  F3B  Cut out +2,  Cut in +18

If that helps...

Could you use a supco 'temporary' cold control? That's what put on my Philco and it works like a champ.

Great I hope it will fix it! What happens with it? It runs constantly and gets too cold?

Post# 742300 , Reply# 13   3/15/2014 at 23:39 (3,697 days old) by norgeway (mocksville n c )
No, It would not turn on at all

I also used a Supco in my 1954 Crosley. Still works. Good fix.

Hans, whatever you do, leave some real estate for the turquoise to show through. :-)

Haha!  I have the same rule but I will not allow any on the front or the side that faces the dinning room.

My 1963 Frigidaire when I got it. There was not much space on the sides to put anything in the enclosure where it spend the first 46 years of it's existence!

FRIGIDAIRE IMPERIAL FPI-16BC-63

Now there's only one old calendar on the side! I kept it for years just to have the phone number of one of the few remaining GM Frigidaire service centers around but the place closed two years ago and I bought their few remaining parts...

ovrphil's profile picture
Fred, I like those magnets, ours are mostly on the side. I think we should have a thread(don't scream) that shows what everyone refrigerators look like on the outside with their magnets (if any).

I can't seem to enforce that one only on the front rule of Robert's.
