It may even be from 1962. I have a white version of the same dryer also, a 1962 DE 701.
This is located in Orange County, CA probably not too far from me. If anyone is seriously interested, I would be happy to pick it up and hold it for you for a short time until you can either pick it up or arrange shipping.
