Mark (lightedcontrols) has bought the '59 Kenmore & GE set. Lots of other machines though.

Check out the rare 24" wide Filter-Flo!

Perhaps Mark (Lightedcontrols) would have perferred to make an anouncement of his personal business himself. In any event, that LK Combo looks very interesting! I remember them and watched them being demo'd at the Sears stores. Did they not have a recirculating spray of water into the tub during the wash phase? Also the metal rectangular door on top reminds me of the regular vented dryers lint-filter door. Did these combo's use a vented drying system? If so how did that work insofar as keeping the water out during the wash phase?

That LK combo was a vented drying system, the metal door on top is the lint filter just like on the WP/KM dryers. Not positive but I think there is a damper that shuts off vent duct while washing and rinsing. You're right about the recirculating spray too, wash and rinse.

That really has got to be a kool combo! Good luck to whomever gets it!

LK combo

Taht combo looks gorgeous! So what does it need to bring it back to "original operating condition?"
