Not a fan of the racking system, though.
Read how one is supposed to load the thing in my Hotpoint service manual and it seems a large bother especially compared to the later lift up and out racks. Going through the archives this model seems to be from the bridge between impeller and wash arm/tower. While it has the latter and the "Power Shower" don't see a rinse aid "Rinse Glo" dispenser or mention (could be wrong as the pics aren't that clear/close up). Still it might prove to be interesting. Again, Hmmmmmm. |

I was interested in this model too, but it looks like it doesn't have a rinse-aid dispenser and, even worse, for me, it doesn't have the accessory side cups racks that I've been looking for. Laundress is right; this is a "missing link" model from 1962, designed most probably to use up parts. It's an impeller model that has the blue/white Plastisol of the new generation of built-ins. It's the portable version of the SU-102 with a Power-Shower.
The machine I'm still searching for is the SP-50 Mobile Maid with all those ritzy features including a butcher-block top(it's the pink one below). An Italian member here did a post a while back with an Italian Mobile Maid that has everything. I'll post a picture of it(it's the blue/white one below). It has a weird Calrod unit on the bottom of the tank. Paul is right. Loading these machines is a lot easier than it looks and they actually hold more dishware than later models. |

It's clean, that's the best part. You can make it work. It's more difficult to make a hunk of junk pretty. |
