Hi, All. I bought last week a kirby G4 at a thift store for $9.99. Excellent condition!!!! I took the bag off and washed it in my WP Duet on the hand wash cycle.Tubes and all. I found 3 pennies that went thru the fan. 1 was really bent along with a 1 inch screw that was really bent. I checked the fan and its in perfect condition. How can a plastic fan bend-up a penny and screw and not break all to pieces??? Please let me know. Thanks,....Bill in Az....

sounds possible. maybe the agitator bent the coin and screw? some fans are tougher than others. ive had good luck with coins and Hoover concept fans here. lets see what the sweeper faction has to say...
