Hotpoint Ariston

Made in Italy. Merloni company, same of Indesit.

We have one just like that at our seaside house, ours has a little more trinkets on the control board, but same thing.

It sucks....

If you really like front loaders (and I absolutely don't) there are surely better fishes in the pond for what concerns reliability...both europeanm and not...averagely keep in count these new aristons are not as good as the Ariston they made once, nor are as good as the older EU Bendix ( always merloni made) sold in US  for awhile in the past,  and used for used... you better get your hands on an older Miele, Bosch or like , that even if older, I see giving less probs during the time being made with more criteria and quality materials than these....

Condenser dryers...don't let me start to talk of how they suck... But 499 for both looks almost fair...
They're typical  average 5kg European or  Barbie-size as I call them.. but good if you have to put them in a tiny apt, for the series "better than nothing"..and anyway better by all means than a chinese portable/apt size pulsator like an Haier... ...on washing also.
Condenser dryers,  as said they suck IMO, though only possible option when venting isn't available, otherwise gimme a vented dryer any day...
2000 dollars new? If that is real some folks over there does really like to waste money.... LOL
