I'd like to see what it looks like installed and with the light on - are the lights just bulbs, on each end or ? configured? It has that restrained look, making it as contemporary as it is old.

I can't tell how many lights in this exact model, probably just one... I have newer Nutone vent hoods and they have two lights. I still haven't installed the one with the folding panel that I recently bought, I'd need to replace a few tiles on the wall below it!

Alas, neither of these will work for me, or any hood at all for that matter.  I have the original giant 1927 opening above the stove and will have to drop the ceiling in order to install a hood.

The hood in Syracuse appears capable of moving a whole lot more air than the one near me.
