Chachp(Ralph) mentioned he seldom sees anything vintage in his area, so here's a set of vintage GE appliances in Hot Springs - anywhere near you? That dishwasher looks very cool..not sure if they still have all these items, the ad is a month old. Willing to split up if you're interested in one item.

1) Vintage, Antique General Electric Appliance Set - $200 (Hot Springs) - littlerock.craigslist.org/app/465...

2) Vintage GE Appliances - $625 (Crieve Hall) - nashville.craigslist.org/app/4693...
Photos below in next posting, and that's a Kitchen Aid DW of course

Dishwasher is a Whirlpool. Early 70's. Looks nice!

Thanks Alan, it didn't quite look like a GE; would be nice if the sellers would mention the different dishwasher brands vs. lumping them in all into a GE appliances pot. It does look nice, too bad no money shots, etc.

DW in second post isn't GE, either, looks to be Kitchen Aid. Both are nice sets of appliances, though! And that wall oven in the second is so unusual to see that early vintage GE wall oven with a window.

KDS-18 with a Stainless Interior?

chachp's profile picture

Is there such a thing?

Thank you Phil.  I missed thos appliances in Hot Springs.  It's about 1 1/2 hours from me.  I've never been a big Whirlpool Dishwasher fan but it would be fun to play with.  I'd be all over it if it was a vintage KA dishwasher.

KA KDS-18 DW With A SS Interior

I have never seen a KDS-18 with the SS interior option, but I do have the disturbers price list for the 18 series and it shows it being available on the Suberba built-ins for $86 extra.

On the GE harvest oven and cook-top for sale where are the controls for the cook-top.

I wanted to see that KDS-18 interior - to say SS and not show it? Pffft!

Chach: Crieve Hall's dishwasher needed to switch places with the Whirlpool, in location. You know, after you said you didn't have luck, I found a lot more in the LA, AR, TN and southern regions than as usual.

I'd love that yellow sink in the first ad!

Missing controls

Since they're not on the cooktop, nor the hood, I imagine there's a control panel mounted either on the cabinet below, or on the wall out of view.

cooktop controls?

Aren't they mounted on the front cabinet that houses the burners? I see a lot of buttons and I don't think it's for Double Diamonds. :-)
