This was an interesting and pretty color, too bad it didn't stay around a little longer.

Kelvinator ranges were actually pretty decent.

this blue, and sand and white panel colors with the black is really attractive to these set of eyes...I'd like to see a kitchen done with the fridge and stove, and was there a dishwasher in this color, I wonder?

I like the look of that range soooo much better than its GE contemporaries.

Very, very, cool

I've never see this color before. Is it a factory finish or a special order? I love the dashboard on this. Really nice panel and graphics. Does anyone know when about this came out?

Was Whirlpool the company that had shaded slate, or was that another company? Stunning!

This would be one of the last

AMC built Kelvinators...wasnt 67 the last....I like that both 8 inch units are up front!Notice the left hand units are higher wattage.."More turns" than the right.

This color was pretty much a WP exclusive [ I have heard some rummers around here that Sears also used it but have never seen evidence that they actually did sell it ], Yes WP did sell the full line of appliances including DWs in this Shaded Sapphire Blue color.

Didn't a Sears version of an appliance in blue show up here not that long ago??  I hadn't thought anyone other than Whirlpool used this colour!

Ya know, there was a WP Sapphire Blue refrigerator at that place in Queensbury where they'll be having an auction on November 1st....  Just sayin'....

While Whirlpool called the color "Edged Sapphire", Sears called it "Shaded Slate". I've seen an ad posted on here for Kenmore dishwashers that shows it, along with Avocado, Coppertone and some other colors of the time. I remember seeing cookware to match in the Sears catalog.

This color was apparently not extremely popular.  AMC tried something similar on the Gremlin.  So the goal would be to get the kitchen and the matching car! laughing
