I've never see this color before. Is it a factory finish or a special order? I love the dashboard on this. Really nice panel and graphics. Does anyone know when about this came out? |

AMC built Kelvinators...wasnt 67 the last....I like that both 8 inch units are up front!Notice the left hand units are higher wattage.."More turns" than the right. |

While Whirlpool called the color "Edged Sapphire", Sears called it "Shaded Slate". I've seen an ad posted on here for Kenmore dishwashers that shows it, along with Avocado, Coppertone and some other colors of the time. I remember seeing cookware to match in the Sears catalog. |

This color was apparently not extremely popular. AMC tried something similar on the Gremlin. So the goal would be to get the kitchen and the matching car!
