I highly doubt that the metal-trimmed two-tone treatment on the door is original. No manufacturer got that fancy with their freezers.
Without that interference, the exterior looks the same as my plain white 1961 Tru-Cold upright freezer, except on mine the door handle is positioned horizontally instead of vertically.
The CL freezer is in nice shape and I like the interior (door storage) better than mine, but not to the tune of $1,000 in a million years.
