maybe the experts can say the reason it's rare is because....it wasn't reliable and most were vanquished to the scrapper? Interesting item and niche' ..couldn't give up my under sink space, personally.

....Without the special sink needed for the installation. These dishwashers depend on a four-inch-deep sink, which is available from only a couple of manufacturers.
At least this one is late enough to be a Perma-Tuf tub model; if it was a Plastisol model, I would not consider it worth the time and trouble to install. With Plastisol, even if it was pristine when you started the installation, it would probably rust by the time you tightened the last screw. P.S.: GE still makes these, although it's anyone's guess what will happen under Electrolux. |
