Ad: " For Sale: Kitchen full of vintage GE appliances. I don't know what year they were manufactured, I'm guessing sometime in the 50's. Everything matches and works to the best of my knowledge. Includes oven, fridge, electric cooktop and metal cabinets. All in teal. Fridge needs a good deep cleaning but oven is clean and in excellent shape. Best offer. Located on Grand Lake. You remove and haul."
not important, but just seeing Presque Isle reminded me of visiting a friend of my dad's who had a retired friend with a house on Lake Huron and acres of land. Swoon... I have that very refrigerator in pink. Mine was not in as good condition as that. I had to paint it. If it's the same as mine it's a 1957 GE combination 12 cubic feet. The best fridge I've ever had. Would love to get ahold of those cabs. Wonder if he would sell them alone. | ||
