Ad: " For Sale: Kitchen full of vintage GE appliances. I don't know what year they were manufactured, I'm guessing sometime in the 50's. Everything matches and works to the best of my knowledge. Includes oven, fridge, electric cooktop and metal cabinets. All in teal. Fridge needs a good deep cleaning but oven is clean and in excellent shape. Best offer. Located on Grand Lake. You remove and haul."

not important, but just seeing Presque Isle reminded me of visiting a friend of my dad's who had a retired friend with a house on Lake Huron and acres of land. His pastime was watching and identifying the big freighters moving through the Lakes. Presque Isle is(or was) beautiful.

Cooktop looks yellow to me.

But if he says they are all Teal then I guess they must be.   Is that a washing machine in Pic 4?

Cooktop

That cooktop is yellow, coordinates with the yellow laminate countertop. What a very cool kitchen! Such a shame that the plan is to get rid of it. That must have been quite a feature when the house was built!

Wouldn't mind having that refrigerator...

Swoon...

I have that very refrigerator in pink. Mine was not in as good condition as that. I had to paint it. If it's the same as mine it's a 1957 GE combination 12 cubic feet. The best fridge I've ever had.

Would love to get ahold of those cabs. Wonder if he would sell them alone.

I guess you make any space your home...

...but that's a very "different" kitchen. Carpeting in the bathroom is bad enough, but I don't think it's at all practical in the kitchen, at least not for clumsy me. I suppose the extra stainless steel sink could come in handy. It is relatively neat and tidy. I take it that's a mobile.

It almost looks like different years!

Are the knobs correct for that oven, the stove top looks to be 1960 to maybe 62,we had the same top in our new house in 61 in stainless. Our oven had the same knobs but a totally different front in stainless and design.Neat place though,I would hate carpet in a kitchen or bath. Hard to keep clean!
