Any ideas as to what brand this is. Looks similiar to a G.E. Info as to which side opens, the top or front? Looks like it could be either. Someone here should know something about this. Probably not a true combo. Les

It's actually NOT a washer/dryer combo, but rather a Japanese built twin-tub washer.

 

I could be wrong, but to me it looks like a Hitachi or Panasonic (built) twin-tub and could be fun to play with, especially for $30 and if it works.

These photos are a similar Kenmore branded twin-tub found in Canada a couple years ago.

If you look closely at the pic you can make out a seam in the top running front to back along the right side of the reflection of the middle control which would lead me to believe it being a twin tub unit.
