I'm going to guess they are a Maytag set, late 60s or early 70s, just based on the glimpse we have of the dryer control panel and the dryer door knob....

Paul, is it not weird that this person strategically covered up the panels? Maybe the knobs were eaten for dessert?

That dryer has a big door.  I'd peg it at late '70s.  It might even have a lighted console.

What are the chances of the washer being its same series companion?  It's definitely a Maytag as well.

Such a pathetic picture.  Well, Victorville isn't exactly an intellectual hotbed.

Unless my eyes are playing tricks on me, this 08 series dryer has a blue colored trim section on the control panel. Doesn't that make this a fairly rare machine? I believe the vast majority of this model were produced with gold trim, so folks with the earlier 06 series washers with blue trim go nuts trying to find one of these guys to match it. I think I'll send them an email asking for more information.

That blue trim with a big door had me scratching my head too.

Let us know what you find out.
