Ad: " Very cool old refrigerator! Around 40 years old. In good condition, but needs repair.

Pull out lower drawer freezer. Metal crisper drawers. Swing out metal shelves.

Please contact me if you're interested."

Like what?  A burned out light bulb or a fried compressor?

I think we know, but why not be more specific in the ad so you won't get a bazillion "What's wrong with it?" calls and e-mails?  "Runs but doesn't cool" isn't all that hard to type.

I wonder what that irregular finish on the fridge door is.

$50.00...

Says it all.

If it ran and cooled, I bet the price would be at least $150.00+ bucks

I believe this is the 18 cubic feet version from '63.

Usually when they don't divulge details it is because it is fubar. I had a pink one just like that. The po "had no idea whether it worked or not". It was a hot gas defrost with a bad compressor.

I think the fridge door may be covered with those word magnets that used to be somewhat popular.

I wonder if they're included.

Yes this is the coveted GE 19 Cubic Foot HGD ref, it could be a 1961-63 model.
