....An original 1957 ad shot for that range, originally posted here on AW by Ben swestoyz.
Look how carefully it's propped inside to make the oven look big, and how the cooktop isn't propped at all, to avoid a visual reference that might make it look crowded. This is, after all, a 24-inch range. If you'll look very closely, you'll see that someone wrote in the price - $227.00. That's equal to just over $1,850.00 today. Quality and American jobs cost money.
